Newsletter and Email Communication
If you have signed up for our newsletter, we process and store the email address you provide in order to send you the FitCalcHub’s updates about fitness and workout tips, calculator features, and related content.
Legal Basis
We collect and process your email address on the grounds of Art. 6(1)(a)). You consent to this when you voluntarily enter your email address and subscribe to our newsletter.
Service Provider
We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), provided by Sendinblue SAS, a French company, to manage our newsletter subscriptions. Your email is also saved on Brevo‘s servers in Germany – where we comply 100% with GDPR regulations.
Retention of Your Information
We keep your email address indefinitely or until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. You may opt out at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in each email, or by contacting us at contact@fitcalchub.co.uk.

User Account and Authentication
We Get Data And Process personal data, that you may actively provide or already have if you sign up to FitCalcHub and Use FitCalcHub services. When you register and create an account on FitCalcHub.

Authentication Provider
We use Supabase Inc. to manage user authentication. Supabase is an American company which offers secure authentication API. Supabase is GDPR ready. From the outset, we have ensured Supabase gets on top of international data transfers, and conducts it well within GDPR regulation with measures such as SCCs.
Session Cookies
We use Session Cookies to operate our Service. These cookies are required for you to remain logged in and provide a smooth experience while using the site. They are erased automatically when you log off, or if idle for a while.
Legal basis
We process your account data on the grounds of our fulfilment of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). The account facility is established by a service agreement, and processing your data is essential in order to fulfil the services you have applied for.

Profile Data Stored:

Updating Information
If you would like to change your profile information, please log in to the website and modify it from your account dashboard. This applies to both your name and email address. Email changes need to be confirmed for security.
Deletion
You have the right to delete your account anytime. When you delete your account:
Your profile info from our database is deleted permanently
Your credentials are erased from Supabase.
This action cannot be undone
You can delete your account by visiting the dashboard of your account, and selecting “Delete Account” in the settings tab.
Retention of your Information
We will keep your account data as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account and data here, and it will be permanently deleted. We may also keep some anonymized data for analytics, which cannot be linked to you.

Our website is served from Vercel‘s secure network over SSL/TLS.
Your user passwords are hashed by industry-standard algorithms, and the hash cannot be reversed.
Secure, encrypted cookies are used for authentication sessions.
Row Level Security (RLS) policies secure the access to the database.
International Data Transfers
Depending on the service, your personal data may be processed and stored in multiple locations:
Newsletter Data (Brevo): Stored by Brevo on a European server in Germany, within the /EEA.
Authentication Data (Supabase): User authentication and database services are provided by Supabase Inc. located in the US. Supabase is compliant with GDPR via SCCs for data transfer.
Website Host (Vercel): Vercel hosting with data centers around the world.
All our suppliers must sign an agreement to safeguard your information and adhere to all indisputable data protection laws.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a resident of California, you have certain additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:
Right of Access to Personal Information: You may request details of personal information held about you.
Deletion Rights: You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.
